Another storm system is moving towards Oklahoma and will pull up moisture from the Gulf of Mexico out ahead of it to help trigger showers and storms. The moisture is shallow, meaning storms will be high based and pose mostly a hail threat. These are going to occur across the W half of Oklahoma Sunday. Then the system will affect E OK Monday. All in all it’s not a widespread rain event, but at least it doesn’t appear to be a widespread severe weather event either. As of now the system isn’t timed right for that to happen.
Saturday will be great and most of your Sunday will be fine as well. Get out there and plant, as it looks like the freezes are over for Oklahoma after Friday morning.
