WEATHER FORECAST: SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ONCE AGAIN ACROSS OKLAHOMA. THE TIMING IS FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING, THEN TRANSITIONING TO HEAVY RAINFALL. ALL MODES OF SEVERE WEATHER ARE EXPECTED: LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WINDS, AND A FEW TORNADOES. THE TORNADO THREAT EXISTS DURING THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS, BUT THE MOST LIKELY WINDOW IS FROM 6PM TO 1AM. AT THIS TIME, LATEST MODELS SUGGEST THE BEST TORNADO PARAMETERS ARE ACROSS SW OK BUT HAVE SHOWN QUITE A BIT OF VARIANCE IN RUN TO RUN. FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY ACROSS A LARGE PART OF THE STATE WITH TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 8″ IN SOME AREAS IN THE EAST. THE RAIN WILL COME TO AN END LATE SUNDAY MORNING AND LIKELY MIX WITH SOME SNOW IN NW OK AS WELL AT THAT TIME.
