I’ll be at the OKC Home and Garden Show this weekend for a few hours on Saturday starting at 1pm. I’ll be at the Life Lift Systems booth showcasing their new storm shelter design that doubles as a panic room! It’s a revolutionary concept! You can learn more about the Vortex Vault here http://lifeliftsystems.com/
Oh and did I mention they’ll be on the TV show, Shark Tank, on January 27th? Indeed! The episode starts at 9pm.
As far as the latest on snow, looks pretty good for a light dusting across the state. The heavier snow will likely fall across parts of C and S OK as well as E OK. Here are a couple of snow maps to give you an idea. I’d take a blend of these two and keep the higher amounts across NE OK like the one model shows but not as much. Doubtful 3-4″ will occur but 1-2″ is reasonable. The other model is good for S and NW OK.
The system will be fast moving and the snow will exit the state by late Saturday morning. Behind it expect ridiculous wind gusts in excess of 40-50 mph and wind chills in the single digits and teens late tonight and Saturday.
Winds die down for Sunday and still cold but not nearly as bad. I’ll have more on this with another Facebook live this evening so join me then and be sure to join my Patreon Weather Group! We’re up to nearly 500 members! Once we hit 500 I’ll interview a Patron live! Just follow the orange button that says become a patron below. -AT
