The weather will be a little unsettled this weekend as another cold front arrives. Light scattered shower activity will continue across N OK through Saturday morning then shift southward into C and S OK by Saturday afternoon. Some of those will be thunderstorms with the focus being heavy rain through Sunday morning.
Rainfall amounts along the I-40 region appear to be quite substantial with training of storms. The bulk of the rain activity will end early Sunday morning and remaining light activity shift into S/SE for the rest of the day. So if you have outdoor plans, just include a backup.
Temperatures this weekend will be a little warm Saturday for some but ridiculously cool for others on Sunday.
Temperatures next week look great with lots of 70s for highs. Next front arrives late Thursday bringing another round of rain with it and a very cool Friday. Enjoy your weekend!
