A hard freeze occurred for many across the NW quadrant of the state last night and this morning thanks to the very strong cold front that moved in yesterday.
In addition to the cold temperatures, snow will be moving through parts of Oklahoma through Tuesday morning with the bulk of it overnight. Snow amounts will be light of course because of the warm ground temperatures. So don’t expect to build snowmen, but it should be pretty to look at until it quickly melts away!
The snow will actually help to keep morning temperatures above freezing Tuesday for most areas, but then fall below again for Wednesday morning. So keep those plants covered!
