New model data tonight indicates a slightly more dense and colder airmass pushing the surface low farther south Tuesday afternoon. The best area for any weak tornadic activity would be along those boundaries in N TX and along the Red River valley (dewpoints in 60s). Elevated hail and heavy rain will occur well north of these features. 1-3" of rain may fall in many areas in C OK. Flash flooding could become a brief threat through Thursday.

There's a new trend in the model data today to return significant moisture into C OK Tuesday afternoon. Our new beta experimental mesoscale model is indicating a surface low across the OKC metro. This will be a focus to get storms to develop by mid-afternoon. The shear is a little weak in the lower levels but sufficient for tornadic activity. Additional severe storms are expected during the evening and overnight period in C/S OK.

Jac ok. This has me concerned. I've got to get the car back in the barn. The weather out here gives me anxiety. I hope it gets better the longer I live here. The weather out there is no comparison. When I've heard of bad storms, it was 10 times worse than I could've ever imagined. Don't get me wrong. I love it out here, love my ranch and all the beauty and wildlife. It's the lightening that literally scares me.
