The Oklahoma Mesonet is an invaluable tool for meteorologists and public agencies to monitor near real-time weather conditions on a small scale.

This network of weather stations covers every county in Oklahoma and is the envy of other states because of what it provides. It is maintained by OU and OSU and receives state funding to cover operating expenses.
