Beautiful Warm, Windy, and Dry Fall Weather
This is my kind of weather! Love these temperatures for the week. The only downside is the lack of rain.
The Jetstream shows we’ll transition from a near westerly flow aloft (W-E) to a northwest flow aloft. This will drag in weak “cool” fronts you won’t notice other than the wind shift. That is, until Saturday, when the flow change brings in a strong front.

Even then, the bulk of the cold air shifts to the E/SE US, and we get a glancing blow. That 1038 High will get us back to those early morning frost and freezes across the region.

This pattern doesn’t bring much in the way of rainfall unfortunately. As a matter of fact, it looks dry up until the 15th of the month before our next storm system approaches. The drought continues to build not only in Oklahoma, but also across much of the country.

The one thing you will notice this week is the wind. Expect gusty days ahead, shifting directions from south to north and north to south as boundaries work through.

Temperatures are very nice this week. Enjoy! -AT
