Enough Rain Already, Still More to Come
I know, we’ll be begging for rain come summer. Have you had enough? Well, still a little more to go this week.
First off, take a look at these rain totals, wow!
The Jetstream shows us a couple of disturbances to work through Wed/Thu across our state. One W/SW and the other in Colorado heading SE.
For today, expect isolated shower activity. More development across NW OK Wednesday, traveling east and also down into the Red River area and N TX. The final wave moves through Thursday. So storms Wednesday night and Thursday morning with lingering activity during the day.
Friday and Saturday look dry. A disturbance will kick off another round Saturday night/Sunday morning, moving from N to S across the state. If we can time it out right, maybe we can get the rain out by daybreak and enjoy a nice Sunday afternoon!
The rainfall amounts look impressive for the activity through Thursday across W OK. Expect another half-inch to an inch of rain Sunday morning.
Temperatures are quite pleasant for a bit before the June warmup commences! -AT
