Last Week of Warmth
We’ve been spoiled this October with a nice stretch of dry, warm weather. Of course, if you’re missing the autumn chill, it’ll be back as soon as next week. Until then, enjoy warm lovers!
We were able to squeeze out a little bit of rain over the past 24 hours with a weak disturbance.
The next rain maker will come Friday night and Saturday as an upper trough swings through the nation’s midsection. The timing is off, so any potential severe weather will likely be east of Oklahoma into Arkansas for Saturday afternoon/evening. The Jetstream shows the upper low across the SW moving to the N from Tuesday to Saturday. We’re on the tail end of the lift. Rainfall amounts may still be decent, however. That upper ridge overhead will get pushed off to the east and weaken, taking the warm weather along with it.

Temperatures will be awesome if you love it warm. If you want the chilly stuff, hold off until about the 22nd.
