Record Warmth Christmas Week Forecast
You’re not going to know it’s Christmas, judging by the temperatures and snowfall across Oklahoma and surrounding states. To find trouble, head to the northeast.
This week will be uneventful for us and warm, with the coldest day coming next Sunday, thanks to another Saturday cold front. We’ll be dealing with record warmth in some areas. The numbers are below:

Drought conditions continue to deteriorate, but that’s expected for our winter season, which officially began today, by the way. Keep this in mind for our fire weather potential. Careful with outdoor burning.

To find snow this Christmas, head north. To find snow/ice, head to the northeast for the day after Christmas. Be careful if traveling that direction.

Around Oklahoma, here are our 6 pm temperatures Wed-Fri. Sunday included to show you we will at least get cold for a day this period.

The extended outlook cools us a bit for the end of the month. I’ll have more details on NYE later. Merry Christmas! -AT
