Other than a few weak storms early Wednesday morning across far NE OK, great weather will continue through Thursday before our next cold frontΒ moves in. With it, falling temperatures for Friday and the return of rain. The rain will continue into midday Saturday before moving out of the state. There is the potential for a little hail with the stronger storms that develop as there is some elevated instability and shear present above the deep cold layer. Temperatures will be cool this weekend as well but no freeze!

Severe weather season officially kicks off this month and we may get our first serious round next week as storms return Tuesday through Thursday with another approaching cold front. I’ll have more on that later. As far as another freeze goes, there is nothing showing up to indicate one over the next 2 weeks but we’re usually susceptible through early April. So planters beware! -AT
